Whether the weather be fine. Or weather the weather be not. Whether the weather be cold. Or whether the weather be hot. We’ll weather the weather, whatever the weather, whether we like it or not. If you’re an avid swimmer, we have a great piece of news for you. There are a number of indoor swimming pools just minutes off Břetislavka (some of which also feature saunas) so you definitely don’t have to wait until the summer comes to take a dip.
The closest indoor swimming pool is in Prague Suchdol (Kamýcká Street) less than 3 kilometres from Břetislava. A car journey takes some 5 minutes and public buses, which run in 5-minute intervals, will get you there in 11 minutes. This is a great place not only for swimmers but also for sauna lovers.
High divers welcome
The swimming pool is 25 metres long and is divided into 6 lanes. In addition, there is a diving platform for anyone bold enough to give high diving a try. And if it’s scuba diving that you desire, we have some great news for you because several scuba diving clubs offer courses and lessons here. Check out the website for opening hours and availability.
Many kinds of sport in one place
